Drew is Managing Principal of Evergreen Capital’s Mergers & Acquisitions Practice.  He has over 20 years of operating and financial management experience in entrepreneurial and large corporate environments.  Drew has been a private investor and advisor and has served as Chairman and President of Wheatfield Ventures, LLC a private equity fund concentrating on early stage investing.

Since January of 2005 he has served on the Board of Howard Bancorp (HBMD – OTC) and serves on the Executive and Audit Committees of the bank.  Drew also sits on the Advisory Board of Spring Capital Partners, L.P. a Small Business Investment Company providing subordinated mezzanine debt financing in the Mid-Atlantic region.  He previously served on the Board of Directors of SafeNet, Inc. (SFNT - NASDAQ), and Chaired the Audit & Personnel Committees of the company.  Drew was an active member of the Board in consummating the sale of SafeNet to Vector Capital in San Francisco.  He also served as Chairman of the Board of Oleran Net Solutions, Inc. that was sold in June of 2004 to MindShift Technologies, Inc.  Drew has served on the boards of several other privately held corporations.

Drew also serves on the Boards of several local, civic and charitable organizations in the Baltimore-Washington region.  He is a member of the Board of Trustees of The Glenelg Country School and served as Co-Chair of the school’s most recent capital campaign that received over $15mm.  Also, Drew is the President of Cattail Creek Country Club, where he has held various leadership positions, and served as a Director of the Howard County Lacrosse Program, Inc. where he remains an active volunteer.  In recent years he has been a member of the Vestry of St. John’s Episcopal Parish, where he chaired the $8mm capital campaign, and was Treasurer of the Howard County Sesquicentennial Committee that organized the 150th celebration of the County.

Drew received his B.S. degree in Accounting from Washington and Lee University and is a CPA in the State of Maryland.
