Bernie McCrory has been a successful corporate executive, entrepreneur and consultant in various industries utilizing his keen executive, financial, marketing and sales abilities.  Bernie has converted a successful 14 year sales and marketing career with IBM into key leadership positions within the high technology, education, distribution, and manufacturing sectors.  His most recent venture with Learning for children, LLC combined his talents to drive this start-up to a successful $14M enterprise which was then sold to a large California educational company.

Bernie’s other accomplishments include an executive career at Sylvan Learning and Caliber Learning Network, a publicly traded company.  Similarly, as President and CEO of Network Storage Solutions, Bernie implemented a new marketing and sales plan and raised venture capital, which allowed the company to develop new products and attain profitability.  He also spent several years as President and CEO of US Design Corporation after leading the venture capital acquisition of the company from Maxtor Inc. (NYSE).  Bernie was also instrumental in developing an independent optical storage business doubling the sales of the company in the first year.  Then after opening the European markets by forming strategic alliances with HP and IBM, the company was sold to private investors.

In addition, Bernie has served as a consultant for emerging companies, venture capital firms, joint ventures and several (NYSE) companies including Sony, EMC, Ford Motor Company, Chrysler Corporation and Allstate Insurance Company.  He excels in the start-up and early stage management consulting, as well as business alliances, consolidations, acquisition and sale of businesses and turnaround situations.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Duquesne University, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
